Volunteers play an important role in the Cornmarket Project, contributing to many aspects of our work and bringing additional value to our organisation. If you are interested in our work and would like to volunteer, we would be glad to hear from you. By volunteering with us, you will gain valuable experience by becoming an integral part of our team and actively supporting our work. In exchange, we offer personal support and supervision to ensure your success. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in a range of training and development programmes, alongside fellow team members.
Please be aware that while Garda Vetting is a requirement for individuals interested in directly engaging with the people utilising our services, we actively encourage individuals with prior criminal histories to apply. We firmly believe in providing equal opportunities and recognise that possessing a criminal record should not automatically disqualify someone from joining the Cornmarket Project workforce. We evaluate each applicant on a case-by-case basis, considering their qualifications, experience, and commitment to personal growth and rehabilitation. We value diversity and believe in providing support and opportunities for individuals to reintegrate into society.
